Thanks!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who gave me such lovely comments on my bronze work. Not only on here, but by email and on the forums.

I've had a bit of a lightbulb moment today with regards to some future bronze beads, so I'm hoping to go to the studio tomorrow and see if the idea works! Silver beads aren't always viable to make in sets because of the cost, but the bronze and copper clays are much more viable for sets.

I also have to mull over the idea of going to a bead fair. I've never done this before, so the decision is all about confidence, getting enough stock together etc. Also the nightmare of not selling anything! Of course its good advertising for my classes as well. I'll have to sleep on it!

Hi, I love your blog...and love your metal clay work! Even better - you seem to be in the UK!! I've been 'dabbling' in PMC for a few months but I have been making fine silver decorative chains for a bit longer. I'm just getting a business plan together to start a micro 'lifestyle' business mainly selling my chains through local 'house parties'. I've been looking for UK shopsites and forums for ages but have never really got anywhere..your site seems to have all sorts of great links!! Thanks!! I have recently found Folksy and have put a couple of chains on there...no sales so far! I have a goal to get to do the PMC Diploma course at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery and then I will be able to put some decent stuff on my chains...until then I just dabble and play!! How on earth do you manage to put such a low price on your PMC (buttons)?...surely you can't be making any money on them...you can hardly be covering your costs!! I shall certainly enjoy reading your blog now I have found it. I am a bit of a computer phobe but if I can manage it I will put your blog on my roll. I'll now try and navigate the techno blurb below to post this on your site!! All the best! Barbara. www.solunarsilverstudio.wordpress.com

Thanks - I have sent you an email. I live in Macclesfield so I am quite near to you and I am keen to attend a fingerprint jewellery training course within the next couple of weeks if possible.
