I'm getting quite excited about Sunday 29th March! I was supposed to be teaching a class at another studio, but for reasons I won't go into here, I am now not! As I'm trying to be positive in my outlook for 2009, I decided to turn the negative into a positive and am holding a studio day instead. It's coming together nicely and promises to be a fun day! Some people are going to be learning enamelling, another I think is learning ring making and then I've got a couple of people coming just for the party!!
I had a lovely day last Friday with Alison at the studio - should I mention that there was some alcohol involved too! Well, we had to christen the studio!! I finally got to have a play with Bronzclay, I really love the texture, it's great to work with - the downside is that I found it quite strong smelling, and a devil to get off my hands!! I'm back there this Friday on my own, so hope to finish off the bronze pieces I was working on, and start some more - I think I'm hooked!
