Its that time of year ....

where everything else goes out of the window in order to prepare for Christmas Fairs!

I have been pretty poor at blogging (amongst lots of other things), but I've come to realise thats just the way it has to be for now.

I've made a stack of earrings for the fairs, mostly stud earrings - some just silver, some silver with resin.  I've also got a couple of necklace/earring sets together and maybe 2 pendants.

This is NOT enough!! 

I will try and get some pictures up of the work I've finished so far.  I've been faffing around with new backgrounds for my pictures, so it'll be a chance to test them out!  I might try and get a trip down to the workshop tomorrow ;o)

Gorgeous Bracelet

I love seeing what happens to my components after they've been sent to their new home!

Yesterday, I saw this gorgeous bracelet which has one of my hammered sterling silver toggle clasps on and I just had to share it with you all

The bracelet is made by Wendy of Creeky Beads using her own lampwork glass beads.  The fact it is in my favourite colour blue probably helps!!!

FHFTeam Pick of the Week

I'm a member of the Frit Happens Forum Etsy Team (fhfteam if you're searching for us on Etsy!).  We have our own blog and this week one of our members (Jo, Kitzbitz)has picked out her Pick of the Week - Gifts.

I am pleased to say that I'm included!!   Jo has selected a pair of my nest earrings - these have been really popular at my last few events, I think the v-wires are really attracting people this season.

That just about sums up how I feel at the moment!  I'm not sure if I'm coming or going, my home life is chaotic at the moment, and the problem with that is that its reflecting on my business time.

I have a severe lack of time, and now I've got shows fast approaching.  Panic is starting to set in!!  I've had to bring some equipment home with me as I just don't have time to go to the studio for the day at the moment.  Part of my kitchen is transformed into a work area much to my husband's dismay!

Hopefully though, that means I will actually have some work to show soon!  I've got some cufflinks on the go, a couple of pendants and some stud earrings. Nowhere near enough for a display!!
