As predicted haven't had much time for blogging, but thought I'd just pop up and say hi so you don't all forget about me!!!
I have been busy trying to get my house ready to move into. Not only have I been decorating down there, but I have been having a de-clutter and selling loads of stuff on ebay! I don't really like this task and would rather take it to the charity shop, but so far I've raised a fair bit of cash so can't complain - it'll all be spent on new things for the house though.
Silver - haven't done any! I decided to just leave it alone until the house move - although I'm desperate to get back to it, I know what I'm like and I couldn't just do a little bit, I'm an all or nothing kind of girl!
I have so many ideas rattling around in my my head, and I am getting quite fed up with not doing anything creative but hopefully, only another 3 weeks to go!

Where have I been??
Its been almost a week since my last post, so where have I been?
I still have a part time day job, so that took care of Tuesday and Wednesday, then Thursday and Friday was spent doing some manual labour! I had to move out of my house because the plaster fell off the walls in most of the rooms!! We've been renting for quite a long time now as we decided to re-wire the house, and have a new heating system while the house was a building site. We decided that we would be ready to move back into the house at the end of May so handed in our notice on our rented house - unfortunately we are now without any tradesmen to finish the house off! So it's down to hubby and I (and any other family members we can call on) to get the house habitable. We finally realised this week that it just wasn't gonig to be ready in time, we could camp out in there, but it's not suitable for our 3 year old. So, we've had to extend our rent another month. There is still a lot of work to be done at the house so every spare bit of time I get I'll be down there.
So my posts may be a bit sporadic for the next 6 weeks or so. I think that jewellery making will be way down on my list of jobs. I'm down at the studio for teaching each week, but I don't think I'll be able to squeeze anything else in.
I have been quite gutted about this as you can imagine! However I've decided that there are things I can do at home in the evenings - I've had a kit to teach myself Viking Knit for ages, so that's coming home, and also there are some chainmaille weaves that have been beating me, so again I'll be doing these in the evenings! Crocheting with wire is another task I never get around to learning.
So, probably not much metal clay work, but hopefully some other things to show instead. Of course all of these things will all go on to be incorporated in my metal clay jewellery so I still feel like I'm being productive!

Back from Beads up North
I finally got around to exhibiting at a Bead Fair, and I think I'm now hooked! As many of you know, I was panicking a bit, but that's just my nature. I really enjoyed myself, saw some familiar friends and met some friends who I've not met in real life before!
I particularly want to mention, Claire Morris of Rowanberry Glass Art we chat a lot online, but this was the first time we've met in person and it was fab!! She is a super talented lampworker.
I also met Min of Apple Green Machine another talented lampworker and lovely person. I accidentally bought two of her beads - oops! And last but not least, Jane Hamill, another lovely person and talented lampworker. See, I'm not as daft as I look - I've surrounded myself with talented lampwork artists!!

Anyway, here's a picture of my table, a bit sparse looking I know!! I made quite a few sales which I'm really pleased about, and also had lots of enquiries (and a couple of bookings) for classes.
So all in all, a fabulous day!
I'm completely shattered today so have had a quiet day. I've been taking photographs of new stock to add to my shop, so may do some listings later.
